Using Your Vulcan Lightweight Lift is SIMPLE! HOW IT WORKS IS EXPLAINED BELOW:
The Vulcan Lift comes with a plug that plugs directly into your Scooter or Motorized Wheelchair and Uses the Batteries of the Wheelchair or Scooter to do the heavy lifting. Your device can remain in the OFF position. (We provide adaptors at no additional cost, complimentary, for 2022 Air Hawk, Phoenix, Falcon, Eagle, and Electra7 Wheelchairs). Pictured above is the Vulcan’s Plug.
As you may observe in the above picture, a Phoenix Lightweight Motorized Wheelchair has been shown with the Vulcan. You may be able to see the plug and joystick. Perhaps you can guess what happens next?!
A closer look at the connection to be made (above)
Now that your power wheelchair is plugged in, THE CONNECTION IS MADE, and you are ready to let the Vulcan do the lifting for you. What a relief! (above).
As you can see above, the Phoenix Wheelchair is folded up, the Vulcan Lift is Plugged into the Joystick, and the chair is Loaded onto the Lift. The next step is strapping the chair in. This is simple and quickly accomplished. * PLEASE NOTE – WITH AN OPTIONAL BATTERY PACK, THE LIFT CAN BE USED BY ITSELF WITHOUT THE NEED TO PLUG INTO THE JOYSTICK IF YOUR FAVORITE MOTORIZED WHEELCHAIR.
There are two straps, one for width, the other for length. The Phoenix is strapped in and an excited hand is on the remote control ready for one of the easiest possible lifts! All that is left is to press the “+” for UP!
As you lift, you can observe the two Side Wheels protruding automatically, for additional stability. The other four wheels can quickly and easily be locked into place using your hand, or foot to hold the lift, and its cargo steady while you lift and lower.
