According to a report published on PubMed In 2021, 77% of adults over 50 said they would prefer to age in place. In 2023, 93% of adults 55 and older said aging in place was an important goal. Despite the immense desire for many seniors to age in the comfort of their own homes, many pitfalls can cause problems. 

The most significant issues are safety and suitability. Maintaining a home with diminished mobility and physical capabilities can be daunting and disastrous. We seek to educate our clients about home safety and facilitate the entire process of aging in place. 

How It Works:

Once you hire us, we will speak with you on the phone for an initial consultation. We will discuss many topics, including your mobility and lifestyle habits, detailed questions about your home, and questions about your yard, mobility needs, eating habits, and social life.  After our initial consultation, we will prepare a detailed findings report outlining our discussion, current situation, and possible solutions. We will discuss the findings report on the phone, and you will receive a copy via email. 

Any proposed solution will include two to four local companies that can implement these solutions. Some examples of solutions include:

• Bathroom safety (Slip risks, mobility safeguards, and accessibility considerations)
• Slipping risks and solutions in the home
• Cleaning and maintenance solutions
• Interior home maintenance solutions
• Yard and Exterior maintenance solutions
• Medical mobility solutions
• Meal preparation and delivery solutions
• Grocery shopping solutions
• Local transportation solutions
• Social life solutions

Why We Are Different:

In addition to providing a comprehensive findings and solutions report, we can help you with implementation. We can do all the confusing and challenging work for you. As an optional service, we can contact companies that provide crucial aging-in-place services that you feel are important and negotiate on your behalf. We can also get several quotes and coordinate all your appointments—at your convenience. 

In other words, we can handle the stress, complications, and troubles of calling service providers (tree services, cleaning services, home improvement services) for you. Instead of doing it all yourself using the list we provide, we can do it for you. That way, you can communicate with us over the phone, by email, or by text message throughout the process. 

We aim to make aging in place as comfortable, joyful, and simple as possible for you. Once things are set up and in place, we can also check in with you monthly to ensure that your household is running smoothly, that you are comfortable with services, or that you wish us to help you with other services.

 How our service works:

if you feel that your household is getting more difficult to manage and you would like some help, the first step is to request a FREE Consultation. We will speak with you on the phone and get a bit better of an understanding of how we could assist you.

If you wish to move forward and hire us to help get your household organized and running more smoothly, we will send you price list by email. Pricing is also located further down this page. You can select what plan works best for you and we will send you a bill. Once the initial bill is paid, which can be completed online, then it’s time to get started.

We will send you to our Questionnaire page. This will help us understand your household in much greater detail. It will most likely require about 60 minutes to complete the questionnaire (which is also online).

When you complete the questionnaire, we will carefully look over all of your answers, then call you for one (1) of four (4) consultations. The first consultation is to make sure we understand your answers and to ask additional questions. We are very thorough and want to make this process as easy as possible for you.

Then we get to work creating our Safe and Happy Home list. We make recommendations for indoors, outdoors, as well as other considerations such as meals, meal preparation, transportation, mobility and more.

We provide in Indoors, Outdoors and Lifestyle report. Each report is valuable. We suggest various local services along with why they are helpful. The reason we do not cover all three areas at once is because we want you to best assimilate each individual report without feeling overwhelmed.

This process typically takes about 3 weeks to complete. We have discovered that going slower is more effective – and we are seeking to help you stay comfortably in your home after.

Discussion of Findings and Implementation of Recommendations

You may fond some of our recommendations exceptionally valuable and helpful and not wish to move forward on others. We go over both pros and cons of each suggestion. For example, you may have difficulty keeping the household clean. This is fine, a cleaning service can help, but we want to make sure that we carefully understand you and your personality so we can plan for success. Proper planning makes all the difference.

In addition to making recommendations, we can help you with implementation. Let’s suppose that after the questionnaire and a couple of consultations, you have several services that you know will help your household while fitting into your budget. But you simply may not have the energy to go through the daunting process of contacting various services, getting quotes, understanding their process and scheduling.

Perhaps you would rather just deal with us as your point of contact instead. 

We understand how this can help, so we are pleased to offer this as well. We can help you throughout the entire process of coordinating services for you initially and we can also help you on a month to month basis with your coordination of home services. So instead of going to the trouble of researching, finding, reaching out, communicating and negotiating with and scheduling services that help you maintain a safe, healthy and happy home, we can do all of the heavy lifting for you. That is an optional service that many of our clients are elated to learn that we offer.

Services and Pricing

GETTING STARTED THE INITIAL SETUP — $1247.00

What’s included: 

• An initial phone conversation so we can learn about you, your household, and what you want to accomplish. 
• The SAFE and HAPPILY FUNCTIONING HOUSEHOLD Questionnaire (This covers INDOORS, OUTDOORS, LEVEL OF ABILITY)
•  A detailed findings report. This report includes service recommendations, the reason why, and the contact information of local service providers and companies that can help. 
• THREE (3) One-Hour Implementation Discussions. 
• THIS SERVICE IS ENOUGH TO COMPLETELY TRANSFORM YOUR STAYING COMFORTABLY AT HOME EXPERIENCE.  

HELP WITH IMPLEMENTATION — $1247 – $3741

* Please Note – Pricing for this service depends on how many services you would like us to facilitate for you. Please keep in mind that if you wanted us to facilitate a yard cleanup, meal provider, home cleaning and tub notch for walk in tub conversion, we do not pay the service providers. We can and do facilitate the process of scheduling, getting quotes and communicating with the various companies on your behalf. 

What’s Included:

•  We will communicate with service providing companies on your behalf. We will coordinate all scheduling, quoting and communication. We become your point of contact and help you to implement the services you would like to implement to help keep your household more safe, comfortable and joyful to be in. 
• We will provide you a detailed quote in writing before starting this service for you. 

MONTHLY MONITORING $247 – $877

* Please Note – Pricing for this service depends on our monthly workload as it pertains to facilitating services for you. Services are paid for in advance and can be cancelled any time. There is no contract for this service. 

What’s Included:

• Monthly check up. We want to know how you are doing, and if you are still happy with services you are receiving. We can help start, stop or pause service providers on your behalf. 
• We can help facilitate transportation needs for you. 
• We can help facilitate (seasonal) services that are not needed on a routine basis. This includes tree trimming, snow removal etc.

MEDICAL MOBILITY SPECIALIST CONSULTATION — $447.00

What’s Included:

* This is a stand alone service. Our team has several Mobility Experts that can help you find the best lifts, mobility scooters, ramps, motorized wheelchairs, lift chairs, and much more. We work closely with several vendors and can often provide discounted pricing that far exceeds our cost for this service. 

• Mobility Questionnaire. We will send you a form to complete so we can learn about your mobility goals and challenges.
• Mobility consultation – Once the questionnaire is completed, we will speak on the phone in detail so we understand your goals and challenges. 
•  We will provide a detailed report. We are specialists in Portable, Lightweight Medical Mobility Solutions that eliminates the need for costly home or vehicle renovations. 
• We will help you with financing if needed and shopping for your medical mobility needs. A specialist will be assigned to your account.
