(1 = MOST, 2 = MIDDLE, 3= LEAST) – AS A PHYSICAL THERAPY TOOL ON FLAT SURFACES, THIS IS A POWERFUL TOOL FOR MAINTAINING MUSCLE AND INCREASING ENDURANCE, OR WITH THE SUPERVISION OF DOCTOR OR PHYSICAL THERAPIST RECOVERING FROM SURGERY OR AN INJURY.
THIS FEATURE IS ALSO OF CRITICAL IMPORTANCE FOR GOING DOWN SLOPES. THE BRIEF VIDEO BELOW DEMONSTRATES WHY THIS IS SO IMPORTANT!

THE WHEELLATOR COMES STANDARD WITH ASSISTED WALK / UPHILL SUPPORT AND CAREGIVER MODE ON THE REAR JOYSTICK:

FRONT JOYSTICK FEATURES
PICTURED ABOVE: THE JOYSTICK THAT MOUNTS ON THE ARMREST IS LOADED WITH FEATURES. AS YOU CAN SEE, THERE IS A SLOT IN THE SLINGSHOT (METAL BAR ATTACHING THE JOYSTICK TO THE WHEELLATOR). THIS ALLOWS YOU TO ADJUST THE JOYSTICK FOR MAXIMUM COMFORT. YOU CAN MOVE IT FURTHER FROM THE BACKREST OF CLOSER, SO YOUR WRIST IS MOST COMFORTABLE WHILE DRIVING YOUR WHEELLATOR.
PICTURED BELOW: BY HAVING THE ABILITY TO ADJUST HOW CLOSE OR FAR THE JOYSTICK IS FROM THE BACK OF THE WHEELLATOR WHEN IN WHEELCHAIR MODE, THIS MAKES THE DEVICE ERGONOMICALLY FRIENDLY BY ALLOWING THE USER TO KEEP THEIR ARM FLAT WHILE USING THE JOYSTICK. ARCHING YOUR WRIST BECOMES UNCOMFORTABLE – WHICH CAN HAPPEN TO USERS WITH LONGER ARMS IF THE JOYSTICK IS TOO CLOSE TO THE BACK OF THE CHAIR. NOT ALL DEVICES ARE CREATED WITH THIS CRUCIAL FEATURE.

ADJUSTABLE HANDLES AND ARTICULATING BACK REST
THE 2026 WHEELLATOR HAS AN ADJUSTABLE / ARTICULATING BACK REST. THIS IS CONVENIENT FOR SEVERAL REASONS. WHEN YOU ARE USING THE WHEELLATOR AS A WALKER (PICTURED BELOW) AND NEED TO SIT, THE BECK SUPPORT SHOULD BE FACING FORWARD. JUST PUSH THE HAND BRAKES DOWN AND HAVE A SEAT! THIS IS PLEASANT WHEN YOU CAN HAVE PEACE OF MIND KNOWING THAT YOUR WALKER IS ALSO A SEAT, AMONG OTHER THINGS.
PICTURED ABOVE:THE BACK REST IS FACING FORWARD, WITH “WHEELLATOR” APPEARING UPSIDE DOWN. THIS IS SO YOU CAN HAVE A SEAT WHEN YOU WANT, WHEN THE WHEELLATOR IS BEING USED AS A WALKER WITH A SEAT.

THE HANDLEBARS ADJUST, THE ARTICULATING BACK REST ADJUSTS
PICTURED ABOVE: THE HANDLE BARS ARE ADJUSTABLE IN HEIGHT. TO LIFT THE HANDLEBARS UP OR DOWN, PRESS THE GRAY BUTTON LOCATED ON THE LOWER PART OF THE HANDLEBAR AND EITHER PULL IT UP, OR PUSH IT DOWN.
PICTURED BELOW: THE ARTICULATING BACK REST IS ADJUSTABLE. REGARDLESS OF THE HEIGHT OF THE HANDLEBARS, YOU CAN TWIST THE GRAY KNOB AND LIFT OR LOWER THE BACK REST. YOU CAN ALSO REMOVE IT ENTIRELY OF YOU WOULD LIKE.
STORAGE AND POWER MANAGEMENT
PICTURED BELOW: THE WHEELLATOR INCLUDES AN UNDER SEAT BASKET. THE BASKET IS REMOVABLE, AND USED FOR MORE THAN JUST STORAGE.
PICTURED ABOVE: WHEN YOU OPEN THE BASKET, YOU WILL FIND A POUCH FOR THE BATTERY ON THE RIGHT SIDE, IF YOU ARE FACING THE BASKET. THE WHEELLATOR USES ONE BATTERY AT A TIME. EACH REAR WHEEL CONTAINS A SMART-BRUSHLESS ELECTROMAGNETIC MOTOR THAT OPERATES QUIETLY. DUE TO THE COMPLEXITY OF WHAT THE WHEELLATOR CAN DO, THE MOTORS ARE ADVANCED AND BUILT TO LAST. THE TIRE IS MADE FROM HIGH QUALITY POLYURETHANE AND WEAR / WEATHER RESISTANT.

“This is EXACTLY what I have been searching for. My doctor wants me to walk as much as possible, which is great, but sometimes I just get so darn tired, shaky, and even light-headed in the middle of a walk that it scares me. “When I was asked if I wanted to test and evaluate the Wheelator, I was so excited. I can walk but my problem is that I am not able to walk for long distances. Sometimes I feel suddenly weak and unstable. While I have a folding wheelchair, that doesn’t give me the option to safely walk behind it and use it as support. Then, when I do need to sit down, I have to walk around to the front of the chair. Sure, this is easy for some people, but when I get tired it happens so quickly, and taking even a few steps is a huge chore and very difficult. On the other hand, when I am feeling ambitious, I have a rollator. That too can quickly be a problem. While it does keep me stable and has a hand brake that I use often, I may as well have nothing when I get tired. Once, I had to rest over an hour just to regain enough strength to slowly get back to the car where I was driven home. With the Wheelator, I was surprised at the diversity of what it can do. I love the assisted walking and handbrakes. The controller on the back is so easy to use. When I need to sit, I can flip the backrest and rest until I am ready. When it feels like that might take a while, I can just sit in the other direction and use it as a power wheelchair. And wow, it’s powerful too! The small things like anti-slip lockouts and resistance when walking down a ramp are so nice. My doctor wants me to walk when I can and this Wheelator gives me the confidence to get out more often and do more things. I just wish something like this had been invented several years ago.
